How it works

Two to five minutes, start to verdict.

  1. 01

    Paste the page

Your landing page URL — the one a stranger lands on. Not your docs, not your repo. That page is what decides.

  2. 02

    A stranger reads it cold

We load your page the way a first-time visitor does — on a laptop, top of the page first — and hold it to a written checklist.

  3. 03

Fix, then grill it once more

Every finding ends in a proposal. Make a change, and 24 hours later grill the same page again — the second and last grill, so you can see whether it moved.

Before you launch

What we measured, so you don’t have to.

We went through the directories and the landing pages ourselves. Here is what the numbers said.

The record

Every grill is public. Ours included.

There is no private option and nothing to pay for one — that is the trade, and there is no signup to read any of them.

What comes back

Three things, and a card you can share.

Our own share card — the launch's logo, the score and the grade in its doneness colour, and the scale it sits on
Our own card, from 7 Sept — this is what a shared link unfurls into.

ExampleWhat a grill of a weaker page returns:

41
Undercooked

A score you can argue with

Four scores, each from a written checklist you can read, not a feeling. Every point traces back to something on your page.

“The page sells a feature to everyone; nobody who lands here knows whether it is for them.”

One line that says why

Twenty words, no softening clause, and it has to hold up against your own page. The line you will either screenshot or fix.

Offer

“Paid plans also available.”

A visitor ready to pay cannot find what it costs, so they bookmark it and never come back.

Findings that end in a proposal

Ranked by what each costs you on launch day. Each quotes your page and proposes one change you could make this afternoon.

Not a cheerleader. Not a copy polisher.

You’re a solo founder, the launch is next week, and the only feedback you have is from people who want you to feel good. The feedback that would have saved it exists — it just arrives after the one shot is spent.

A landing-page roast
An opinion you cannot check. Every score here traces to a named test, quoting your own page.
After the grill

Take your page to the directories with your own agent.

The Launch Kit: a playbook for each of 228 directories that your coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) follows in your browser. It starts from a brief written from your grill, and stops for logins, captchas and anything that costs money.

Questions

Is this just ChatGPT with a prompt?
Judge it by the output. Every finding quotes your page, every score follows from a written checklist you can read, and the one line under the grade has to be true from the page alone. If a line could not be checked by a third party, it is cut.
How is the landing page score worked out?
Four axes, each scored 0 to 100 from its tests, weighted Clarity 35%, Audience 18%, Offer 29%, Proof 18%. The score is the weighted sum, and every grill prints the sum: one public grill reads 28.4 + 13.9 + 14.2 + 18.0 = 74.4, so 74. All 18 tests are published in full.
Why is my grill public?
Because a score nobody can see helps nobody. Every grill is public — it has a shareable link, appears in the record, and search engines can index it. There is no private option, and it is stated before you sign in, not after. If someone else grilled your page, the link at the bottom of it takes it down — immediately if you ask from an address on that page’s own domain, otherwise by hand within a day.
What does it need, and how long does it take?
A public URL. It renders the page like a visitor would, screenshot and all, and the critic takes 2–5 minutes — leave the tab, it emails you. Pages behind a login, or behind a check that blocks anything but a human, get a text-only read, and the grill says so.
How many can I grill?
Ten launches, and each launch gets two grills: one now, one 24 hours later, and then it is done. The pair is the whole idea — one reading, a day to change something, one reading of whether it moved. A score that shifts an hour after you edited a headline is measuring noise. A grill that fails costs you nothing and starts no wait.
Can I remove one?
Yes, from Your grills. Removing a launch destroys every grill of it, the screenshots and the public pages. It cannot be undone, and it does not give anything back: the launch still counts as one of your ten, and re-adding the same URL does not give the page its two grills back.
Is this a landing page roast?
The same idea, done so you can check it: a score, the sentence from your page that loses a stranger, and what to change. More on how it differs from a roast.
Is there a human review?
Not yet. It would be Said using your product the way a buyer would, re-scoring the four, and adding four an AI cannot judge honestly: Product, Market, Launch plan, Taste — with written feedback and a video. Whether it gets built depends on whether anyone wants it. Leave an address and you will hear once, if it opens.

One email, if it opens. Nothing about your grills depends on it.

What will it not do?
Comment on you, your team, or your English. Rewrite your page. Be nice about it.
